About

Do you ever catch your furry companion scratching their ears excessively or shaking their head frequently? It's a heart-wrenching sight to see your beloved pet in discomfort.

These actions often indicate discomfort or inflammation in the ears, caused by environmental factors like exposure to water, dust, or pollen. As a dog owner, it can be difficult to manage itchy ears and find a solution that effectively soothes the itching and supports skin regeneration. Additionally, dry and flaky ears can lead to potential infections, causing distress for both you and your dog.

Our EAR GEL is here to help. Formulated with aloe vera, micro silver and zinc, lactic acid, and witch hazel extract, this gel provides hydration, soothes itching, counteracts inflammation, expels harmful bacteria and promotes healing and regeneration of impaired skin cells. With regular use, your dog's ears will feel healthier, more comfortable, and less prone to infection, improving their quality of life and making your life as a dog owner more pleasant.

Ingredients

Using a product made of natural ingredients when cleaning dog ears is important because it ensures that the product is safe and gentle for your dog's sensitive ears. Natural ingredients are less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions, making them a better choice for dogs with sensitive skin. Natural ingredients provide a gentle yet effective solution for maintaining your dog's ear hygiene and comfort.

Aqua: Water

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: Aloe vera is highly valued for its moisturising and regenerating properties. Perfect for dry, stressed, and sun-damaged skin. From controlled organic cultivation.

Glycerin*: Vegetable glycerin is produced during the saponification of vegetable oils. Glycerin helps the skin to retain moisture.

Polyglyceryl-4-Caprate: Vegetable emulsifier. The name refers to glycerol and capric acid (fatty acid found in coconut oil, for example).

Sclerotium Gum: Sclerotium gum is a natural thickener obtained by fermentation of a fungus.

Micronized Silver: Micronized silver is ideally suited for the care of irritated or contaminated skin thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Micronized silver cannot penetrate the skin due to the size of the particles.

Zinc Sulfate: Zinc oxide and zinc sulfate have antimicrobial and astringent effects. Zinc is said to help dry out inflammation and is therefore traditionally used in wound protection creams. Zinc also plays a vital role in cell regeneration, and in the formation of enzymes of the immune system.

Sodium Benzoate: Sodium Benzoate occurs naturally in resins and fruits. It prevents the growth of microorganisms and thus serves as a natural preservative.

Potassium sorbate: Potassium sorbate is a nature identical substance and prevents the growth of microorganisms in the product. Approved for use in certified natural cosmetics.

Lavandula Angustifolia Oil: Lavender oil, the essential oil from lavender flowers, is rich in linalool. Together with more than 2000 other components, it promotes a fast recovery of stressed and irritated skin. In aromatherapy, the typical scent is valued for its calming and harmonising effect.

Rosmarinus Officinalis leaf oil: Rosemary oil is said to have a positive effect on the skin since the Middle Ages. It is considered to be antibacterial, and because it stimulates blood circulation, it has a vitalizing and warming effect. Rosemary oil also regulates the production of sebum and is beneficial for the healing of wound.

Linalool: Linalool is a natural fragrance that occurs, for instance, in the lavender plant.

Hamamelis Virginiana (Zaubernuß) Extract: Extract made from leaves and bark of the witch hazel tree. Witch hazel is native to North America and has been valued by indigenous people in the care of inflamed skin conditions. It is rich in specific tannins and flavonoids that have astringent, anti-inflammatory effects and soothe itchiness.

How to use

Important: The EAR GEL may only be used after the EAR CLEANSER. Otherwise, you risk that dirt is trapped in the ear and problems escalate.

For use in the external auditory canal.

After cleaning your dog’s ears with our EAR CLEANSER, wait for approx. 60 min. Roll the EAR GEL between your palms to bring the liquid to body temperature.

In acute cases, apply 1–3 drops of EAR GEL 1–2 times a day carefully into the pinna, either directly with the pipette or with cotton wool. Then gently massage the base of the ear from the outside.

A cleaning of the deeper auditory canal should only be done by a vet.

Use within 6 months after opening.

One approach is to use a small amount of the Ear Gel on a cotton pad and gently rub it around the outside of the ear, avoiding the ear canal. Another approach is to apply a small amount of the Ear Gel to your finger and gently massage it into the base of the ear. Additionally, you can try to distract your dog with a treat or toy while you apply the Ear Gel. It's important to remember to be patient and go at your dog's pace.
