Calma understands the practicalities of pet ownership, making cleaning a hassle-free experience. A simple shake refreshes the cushion, and any stray dog hairs are easily removed with a vacuum's upholstery brush. Light dirt poses no challenge – a quick brush is all it takes. The wool fabric, available in three stylish colors, can be conveniently machine-washed at 30°C on the gentle cycle, ensuring maximum hygiene.

The cushion filling is made of extremely soft, open cell foam. To retain the high quality of the product, the cushion should be cared for and cleaned accordingly.
Wash the inner cushion with a mild detergent up to 60° C. We do not recommend the use of chlorinated and chemically aggressive washing products. A brownish discoloration of the foam cannot be avoided, but has no effect on the quality of the foam.
After washing and rinsing, please remove as much water as possible with the spin cycle. The inner cushion is best air-dried on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 60° C, but please avoid over-drying.
Please plump up the inner cushion regularly so that it retains its fluffiness and shape. To keep the filling in place, knead the cushion intensely, then flatten it with your hands.
Cover
Light dirt can be brushed out without any problems. For maximum hygiene, this wool fabric can also be washed in the washing machine at 30° C on the gentle cycle. Like all MiaCara cushion covers, the Calma cover is also available individually, so you can give your dog cushion a new look at any time.
For easy cleaning in between, dog hair can easily be beaten out or vacuumed with an upholstery brush on your hoover. To remove stains from the fabric, press a damp cloth onto the stain and wipe the fabric clean in circular motions. Repeat the process if necessary. For stubborn stains, a mild detergent can be used.
For heavier soiling, Calma dog cushion can also be dry cleaned.
What size dog bed should I get?
First, you'll want to measure your dog's length from nose to tail and add a few centimeters for room to move and stretch out. This measurement will give you an idea of the minimum size bed your dog will need. Another important consideration is your dog's sleeping habits. If your dog tends to stretch out and sleep sprawled out, they will likely need a larger bed than a dog that curls up in a tight ball.
