Inner Cushion Sides
60° C gentle wash cycle
The cushion filling is made of extremely soft, open cell foam. To ensure longevity, the cushion should be maintained and cleaned accordingly.
Launder the inner cushion with a mild detergent up to 60° C. We do not recommend that you use chlorinated and chemically aggressive washing products. A brownish discolouration of the foam cannot be avoided, but has no eect on the quality of the foam.
After washing and rinsing, please remove as much water as possible with the spin cycle. The inner cushion is best air-dried on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 90° C, but please avoid over-drying.
Please plump up the inner cushion regularly so that it retains its fluffness and shape.
30° C gentle wash cycle
Wet wash with a mild detergent at temperatures up to 30° C. Do not use highly chlorinated or chemically aggressive washing additives as this can damage the memory foam when drying.
After washing and rinsing please remove as much water as possible through the spin cycle. The mattress can be best dried by air on a rack. It can also be tumble dried at 90° C.
The fabric is washable at 60 ° C or can be dry cleaned. After washing, simply let the cover air dry on a rack. Do not put the cover in the dryer. If needed, iron the fabric at low temperature.
Please note that by intensive use the surface of the fabric may be roughened and lint nodules can form (so called pilling). This cannot entirely be prevented and is therefore no reason for complaint.
For simple and uncomplicated cleaning in between, carefully vacuum the fabric with an upholstery brush.
The answer is yes. Most dogs sleep for 12 hours a day and it's not good for them to sleep on the floor, especially if they are older. Dogs need a place of their own as it gives them a place to feel safe, which is important especially for anxious dogs. The bed also reduces the amount of hair and dirt that ends up on your furniture.
After some use, regular dog beds begin flattening out and causing your dog or puppy incredible discomfort. When a dog lies down on an orthopedic bed, he shouldn’t be able to feel the floor through the bed. Preventing achy joints, stiff muscles, improved blood flow, and a night of more restful sleep are just a few health benefits of a good orthopedic dog bed.
This might be because their current bed is too hot, too cold, the wrong size/shape or somehow uncomfortable. Here at SHOOBY you can find dog beds and dog cushions that suit your dog's weight, length, age, health conditions and sleeping style.
Make sure it's large enough for your dog to be able to lie comfortably in all natural positions. Measure your dog from their nose to their tail while they are sleeping, then add 20-30 cm to determine the length or diameter of the bed (keep in mind whether your dog is fully grown when measuring).
Think about your dog's sleeping style - dogs that like to sleep curled up will prefer a square, round or oval-shaped bed with raised sides, giving them a sense of security. Dog cushions are great for dogs that stretch or sprawl out while sleeping.
If your dog loves destroying his aesthetic dog bed, you can always make him stop. Find out the root cause of his destructive behavior and find solutions to remedy the situation. Five most common reasons are: teething, poor training, stress or anxiety, lack of exercise and boredom.
